Bonacci forms Specialist Water Division

To reinforce our sustainability credentials across a broad range of building and development fields, Bonacci Group has formed a new operating division called Bonacci Water Pty Ltd. The division is headed by recently appointed director, Dr. Peter Coombes, one of Australia's leading authorities on water management and associated sustainability issues.

Dr. Coombes will focus on providing leading-edge strategic advice, and innovative water design and sustainability solutions to all levels of government and business. He will also continue to conduct research, leading to development and implementation of new methods of analysis.

Bonacci Water will be at the forefront of environmental and sustainable design solutions that recognise the importance of dealing with climate variability and scarce water resources.

Bonacci Water Appoints One of Australia's Leading Water Issues & Managements Authorities Dr. Peter Coombes.

Before joining Bonacci Water, Dr. Coombes was Conjoint Associate Professor of Integrated Water Cycle Management at the University of Newcastle and a Director of Urban Water Cycle Solutions.

Dr. Coombes is also a research project leader at eWater CRC, a member of the Prime Minister's Science, Engineering & Innovation Council working group examining Water for Cities, and a member of the Urban Water Advisory Committee to the National Water Commission.

Dr. Coombes will continue in his position at the University of Newcastle, and will also be an Associate Professor within the University of Melbourne's Schools of Biomolecular and Chemical Engineering and Civil/Environmental Departments.
