Peter Coombes
Key Competencies
Management of research/consulting projects addressing the science and economic impact of integrated water cycle management and source control, catchment management, ecological sustainability, water demand, water balance modeling, water resource economics and bio-chemistry. Dr. Coombes is a project leader of innovative water sensitive urban design approaches in the eWater CRC and in the design of many sustainable developments. His core interests are the analysis, software development and simulation of water resource systems to create evidence based management policies. He has been involved in a wide range of projects where he has provided strategic design, policy and economic advice to the satisfaction of government and the development industry.
Peter has served on the advisory panel to the National Water Commission, was a member of the Prime Minister’s Science, Engineering and Innovation Council working group on Water for Cities. He has also been a member of the Victorian Government’s Our Water Our Future panel on alternative water sources and was a co-author of Australian Runoff Quality. Dr. Coombes has written over 120 research publications, including book chapters, journal articles, keynote papers and conference publications. In addition, he has designed and developed over 80 sustainable developments and written a number of policy reviews and design guides for Water Sensitive Urban Design and Integrated Water Cycle Management. He was the chair of the 13th International Rainwater Catchment Systems and 5th International Water Sensitive Urban Design Conference held in Sydney during 2007.

Stephen Payne
Key Competencies
Stephen has extensive understanding of commercial construction techniques and is able to in invest this knowledge into the design of readily buildable and economical structures that respect the particular skills of the contractor.
Stephen has demonstrated the ability to work closely with leading Architects, helping them bring to reality a broad range of developments, from domestic homes, through to icons of Melbourne’s urban environment.

Dermot Murray
Key Competencies
Dermot is the only non engineering director on the Bonacci Board and as such offers a different viewpoint in his contribution to directors meetings and the general management of the Group. Dermot is responsible for all non engineering activities, including financial management, corporate governance, human resources Q.A. and contract management. He has a very hands on style and keeps close project / risk management control on projects as they progress through the various design and construction phases. His academic mix of accounting / corporate governance and organisational behaviour / applied psychology allows him look at problems from various viewpoints.
In short, Dermot’s position description has been described as "doing everything the engineers don’t want to do".
